Dinny helps generate meal ideas based on your tastes, dietary needs, avoided ingredients, cuisine preferences, and fridge items. This policy explains what information Dinny collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

Dinny may collect an anonymous app user identifier, app install identifier, onboarding choices, meal preferences, dietary needs or allergies you choose to enter, avoided ingredients, cuisine likes and dislikes, fridge items you enter, generated recipe history, saved recipes, usage events, device and app diagnostics, and subscription status.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide recipe generation, personalize meal suggestions, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, prevent abuse, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and operate the app.

AI Processing

When you request a meal, the ingredients, dietary needs, cuisine preferences, and other preferences needed to create that meal may be sent to an AI model provider. Do not enter sensitive personal information into ingredient, preference, or feedback fields.

Dinny uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and database services, OpenAI for AI recipe generation, RevenueCat for subscription management, Superwall for paywall presentation and experimentation, and Apple for App Store purchases. These providers process information needed to perform their services.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Dinny does not receive your full payment card details.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain purchase access, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service. To request deletion, email support@trydinny.com.
